As I browse the internet I realize that we are not the only family who has been devastated by social services, in fact, we are not even the only community or country. There is something inherently wrong with social work practice and thinking, in itself. It seems to have got a grip in a way that a political party or ideology never could do. I do realize that in actual fact they are all connected, but the point is, social services is now out on a limb and seems untouchable, even by the very people who put them there in the first place. They call it: IN THE CHILD`S BEST INTEREST` and it seems untouchable by anybody. With that flag they get away with just about anything, or so it seems to me.

The point is nobody wants to stand against `what is in the child`s best interest`, of course not. No political party, or member of any ideological group wants to do that. It`s a winner for social services. With that cap in hand, and playing it often enough, many members of the public believe that social services actually know what they are talking about. They don`t. They use it to take children away and give them more miserable lives than they already had. That`s the point I want to make.

Social Workers

I have never come across a profession so willing to work without ethics or morals. They have taken two children from their family in Glasgow and placed them with a highly dysfunctional family in Dunoon. In order to do that they had to bias their reports, misrepresent the facts and blatantly lie. One reason they get away with this type of behaviour is that there is no organization to monitor what they do. They are accountable to no-one. There is a complaints procedure but it is social workers who deal with the complaints and they always stand by each other. It`s time for victims to make a stand.
